Illinois Food
Safety

The National Environmental Health Association's
(NEHA) food manager course meets all training requirements and is an APPROVED 15 hour Food Service Sanitation
Manager Certification (FSSMC) Course by the Illinois Department of Public
Health.
The State
of Illinois requires all Food
Safety Manager Certification training to be supervised by an
Illinois
certified instructor.
It is necessary to have an
Illinois
approved instructor
report your training, handle the state required paper work and supervise the

Training course is listed at the beginning of the course.
The NEHA Food Safety Management Principles
Certification Training course provides training only. The final certification
examination is not included and is handled separately. Upon completion of this
course, students will gain access to a printable certificate of completion.
Students will need to take the certificate of completion to an approved CFP
testing facility.
